The Moreton Bay Colleges' Foundation Business Breakfast Series enable you to network, connect and engage with local business and industry representatives and support the development of strong partnerships between the college and broader community. Each breakfast event features prominent guest speakers, and the format allows plenty of time and opportunity for professional engagement. All proceeds from our breakfasts support the Moreton Bay Colleges' Foundation to invest in world-class facilities and educational opportunities for students.

We are delighted to announce that our sporting expert panel includes:

  • Mrs Angie Lambert OAM- Angie made her debut for the Hockeyroos as a 17 year old in Argentina two weeks after completing year 12. Then, in September 2000, Angie won an Olympic Gold Medal for Australia. Angie was the youngest Australian female gold medalist at the Sydney Olympics at just 19 years of age. She was awarded the Order of Australia Medal (OAM) for Service to Sport as a Gold Medalist at the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
  • Mr Sam James- Sam is the Chief Strategy Officer at VALD. VALD Performance provides innovative human-measurement technology to over 1,000 of the world’s most elite sporting teams, universities and defence departments.
  • Mr Steve Rippon- Steve is the State Performance Manager at Queensland Athletics/Queensland Academy of Sport. Steve's experience in coaching track and field through-out the world has given him a global perspective on the sporting industry.  

    Our dynamic speakers will be discussing the Business of Sport, and the path ahead to the 2032 Olympics.

    Students are welcome to attend and a special student ticket price is available. A College bus has been arranged to collect the students at 8.30am and drop them to school. 

    THE MENU:

    Upon arrival, you will have your choice of freshly brewed coffee or tea.  Sit down to a hot breakfast, accompanied with seasonal fruit platter and juice on table.
