This one-day retreat is designed to provide carers with a much-needed break in a relaxed, scenic environment. Carers will enjoy a fully planned day of leisure and connection, set on the beautiful Moreton Island at the Tangalooma Resort.

Carers will travel in comfort across Moreton Bay to and from Tangalooma Resort, enjoying scenic ocean views and the calming experience of the sea journey. Arriving at the island, carers will be greeted by the resort guest services team and taken into the beautiful resort to start the carer conversation.

A delicious lunch will be provided at the resort, allowing carers to sit back and relax in a beautiful beachfront setting.

The highlight of the day will be a guided tour to the famous Tangalooma Shipwrecks, home to over 200 species of tropical fish. This activity offers a unique and accessible way to explore the vibrant marine ecosystem—no swimming required. Guests will view the marine life from above and participate in the resort’s interactive fish feeding experience.

📍 Departure Location:
Holt Street Wharf – 220 Holt Street, Pinkenba

🕖 Arrival Time:
6:45am sharp for check-in. Ferry departs shortly after.

🕓 Return Time:
4:00pm ferry from Tangalooma, arriving back on the mainland at approximately 5:15pm.

🚗 Please Note:
Parking at Holt Street Wharf is not included and will be an out-of-pocket expense for carers.
