☕ Brewing Business Insights: Morning Coffee with Senator Dave Sharma
Description
Join the Bondi & Districts Chamber of Commerce for a morning coffee and conversation with Senator Dave Sharma.
This is an opportunity for local small business owners to share their views on the Federal Budget, including how recent tax changes may impact their businesses. The discussion will also explore broader concerns around the current economic environment, business confidence, cost pressures, and opportunities for growth.
We encourage members to bring their questions, insights, and experiences to help inform the conversation and ensure the voices of local businesses are heard.

Senator Dave Sharma has represented New South Wales in the Federal Parliament since December 2023 and previously served as the Member for Wentworth from 2019 to 2022.
Before entering politics, Dave had a distinguished career as an Australian diplomat and ambassador, representing Australia in Israel, Washington DC and Papua New Guinea, including service in national security and foreign policy roles in Canberra and with Australia’s peacekeeping mission in Bougainville.
Alongside his public service experience, Dave has extensive commercial and business credentials. He has served as a public company chair and director and was a founding partner of SWG Capital, a boutique corporate and investment advisory firm with a focus on technology and growth sectors.
Drawing on both his economic and international experience, Dave is a strong advocate for policies that support investment, productivity, innovation and small business growth. He is actively engaging with the Sydney business community on the impact of recent changes to business taxation, economic competitiveness and the broader operating environment facing Australian businesses.
Dave currently serves in the Shadow Ministry as Shadow Assistant Minister for Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs and Shadow Assistant Minister for International Development and the Indo-Pacific.
