"Every song tells a story and HAS a story, which has always fascinated me" - La Rochelle With a voice like honey and a wide vocal range, a deep appreciation for music and storytelling through lyrics has enabled Rochelle to develop an extensive repertoire and adaptable performance. Rochelle has been performing across Western Australia for the past 15 years, in various groups including a duo, a cabaret group, accompanied by a 12 piece band, and with community choirs, including Balingup's Cacophony CommUnity Choir. La Rochelle is her exciting new solo endeavour! Join Rochelle as she shares the stories behind some of the best songs ever written. Singing favourites from writers like Randy Newman and Bob Dylan, and vocalists Aretha Franklin and Bette Midler, with songs from movies to folk legends, this will be an intimate auditory feast like no other. |
