On behalf of the Morrinsville Gallery whānau, we warmly invite you to celebrate 15 years of creativity, connection, and community.
Join us for a heartfelt gathering filled with reflection, and gratitude. We’re honoured to welcome back artist and founding Director Charlotte Giblin as our guest speaker, sharing her inspiring keynote Push the Light—a story of resilience, hope, and compassion.
This celebration is made possible thanks to the generous support of the Matamata-Piako District Creative Communities Grant.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for being part of our journey. We’d love to have you with us as we step into the creative future of our region and Aotearoa New Zealand.

About us: The Morrinsville Art Gallery Charitable Trust is proud to celebrate its 15th anniversary in 2025 as the heart of community art in the Matamata-Piako District as we are the largest community art space serving our wonderful farming region. Our aim is to create spaces for collaboration in making a difference for our community via art and culture and embracing business development in our region.
Our gallery welcomes both professional and non-professional artists, including newcomers to the workforce in Waikato, who view art as a means to connect with our people. We are excited to showcase art projects created by immigrants, who play a vital role in our local economy. By providing them with an opportunity to connect and express their values and culture through art, we help them settle in and feel included, respected, and valued within our community.
We are dedicated to creating a welcoming and vibrant space for both locals and visitors in Morrinsville and throughout the beautiful Waikato region.
By supporting local and national artists and creators through our diverse program of exhibitions and events, we aim to inspire and engage our community. Our efforts would not be possible without the invaluable contributions of creators, artists, donors, and volunteers. Thank you for being an integral part of our family and our story.
