Mosaic of Care: Strengthening Roots of Healing Across Cultures
The free Mosaic of Care program is designed to support clinicians who work cross-culturally with clients from diverse backgrounds. It aims to bridge gaps in cultural understanding by equipping mental health practitioners with the tools, knowledge, and confidence to integrate culture as a resource in therapy. By fostering cultural humility and promoting the use of reflective frameworks, the program strengthens therapeutic relationships and improves client outcomes.

When: You will work with your assigned consultant to find the best day and times to meet*
Where: Meet via Zoom or in-person Change Inc.
Cost: FREE!
*You must be able to commit to 3 hours of consultation (Three, separate, 1-hour sessions)

Clinician who seeks to enhance their cultural competency and use culture as a foundation for healing in their practice.
Submit your registration to get more information and be matched with a trained BIPOC cultural consultant. Once matched, you will work with your consultant to set up dates/times and a location for your three sessions.
*MN-BMFT has approved this course for 6 CE hours (includes 4 hrs. towards Cultural Competency requirement) upon completion and verification of time. For other licensures, certificates of completion will clearly state course objectives and time requirements. Consult your licensing Board for CE requirements.

Ann Dillard, LMFT, PsyD Candidate
Ann Dillard is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, educator, and internationally respected mental health consultant dedicated to advancing culturally responsive care. She is the founder of KIP Consulting Services, LLC and the visionary behind the development of Mosaic of Care: Strengthening Roots of Healing Across Cultures—a program launched through Change, Inc. and funded by Minnesota’s DHS CEMIG grant.
With over 35 years of leadership experience in the mental health and nonprofit sectors, Ann brings extensive expertise in cultural identity, systemic therapy, and community healing. She operates a thriving virtual mental health clinic, serving women of all ages, and is widely sought after for her coaching and training around mother-daughter dynamics, cultural trauma, and intergenerational healing. Whether through therapy, training, or international service, she consistently centers identity, empowerment, and healing in everything she does.

Dr. David Hesse, Ph.D., LMFT
David Hesse holds a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University. He is a therapist and clinical supervisor with Change Inc, as well as the Training and Internship Manager for Change Institute. For over 10 years David has provided individual and family therapy for clients and their families in school-based and outpatient settings, and provides supervision for graduate and post-graduate level interns.
David is a core faculty with Change Inc.’s MFT National Exam preparation course, and with the Fundamentals of Supervision course. David is a MN-board approved supervisor, and an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.

Ana Lewis, M.A., LMFT
Ana Lewis is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Minnesota Board Approved Supervisor with extensive experience providing clinical services and supervision across diverse cultural contexts. Ana is a first-generation immigrant from El Salvador, and is bilingual in English and Spanish. As a consultant with the Mosaic of Care program, she supports clinicians in navigating the complexities of cross-cultural therapy with cultural humility and reflective practice. Her work centers on helping therapists recognize and integrate clients’ cultural identities as strengths in the therapeutic process, ultimately enhancing engagement and outcomes. Ana brings a collaborative, strengths-based approach to consultation, drawing on over 14 years of experience working with immigrant, refugee, and marginalized communities.

Regina Mhiripiri, M.A., LMFT
Regina Mhiripiri identifies as a black woman with a multicultural and international family background who resides in the Minneapolis metro area and is currently practicing as a Marriage and Family Therapist, as well as a community consultant and supervisor of folks in training. Throughout Regina’s extensive clinical career, she has continued to expand her worldview through a trauma-informed, cultural humble and conscientiousness framework. Integrating a relational-humanistic approach, there is an emphasis on the importance of the therapeutic relationship while prioritizing the development of authentic connections, mutual empathy, self-worth and empowerment in her clinical practice. There is value in both the individual's unique experience and potential for self-actualization, while also recognizing the significant impact of relationships on well-being within their ecosystem.
