Spend a relaxing few hours creating your mosaic house number! Mosaic is such a peaceful craft and is a suitable for first-time crafter or a seasoned one! Everyone is welcome here. Pictured is our Pōhutukawa design, but you can create anything you like! We will have a large selection of matte tile colours to choose from and also some inspiration books for you to look through. Check out the picture in the event gallery that shows our colour selection.

You are absolutely welcome to attend on your own or with friends, we're a friendly bunch and all are welcome ❤️ If you'd like to zone-out and have some 'me' time, you're even welcome to bring your headphones!

We start off learning and practicing the basic skills before moving onto designing and creating your own mosaic. You'll also enjoy a complimentary drink and nibbles as you spend a 'crafternoon' with us! You will be provided with everything you need to create your house number, it's normal to not finish your kit within the workshop time but don't worry, you will be sent home with everything you need!*

*all necessary grout, glue and tiles needed will be supplied to take home and are included in the ticket price. Tile cutters are not included but can be purchased at the workshop if needed.

Important Information

Cutting/nipping the tiles requires a decent amount of hand and wrist strength. If you have any injuries or problems in those areas, unfortunately this workshop isn't right for you. Keep an eye out for our 'No Nipping' workshops that will be released February 2025.
When you purchase your ticket, make sure to put your house number in the 'House Number Notes' box. I make the house numbers by hand and have them ready for you at the workshop. Our current backing board size allow max of 2x large numbers and 1x small letter (14a is fine, 149 OR 149b is not). We're working on providing more flexibility for house numbers, we want everyone involved 💜
