Mosaic Workshop w Tay & Bay
Event description
We are so thrilled to be hosting another Mosaic Workshop held within our colourful showroom at Jatana Interiors in Federal Village.
We; Bayley Kilpin and Taya Mikah- are both practicing Artists, we will guide you through making a mosaic piece made from Jatana Interiors second tiles. This workshop we will be making a door mat- a detail to add to your home, business or any doorway you wish !
It is a great way to spend the weekend learning a new skill, meeting other creative people and making something you get to enjoy for a while yet. Mosaic making is a very meditative process and allows you to lean into your design brain, use your hands and have insight into the ancient practice of mosaic.
It is a two day workshop. The first day will span over 6 hours on the 22nd (10am-4pm) AND 4 hours on the 23rd (10am-2pm) the following day for the grouting and all polishing processes.
Activities will include designing, hammering tiles, gluing and grouting. All materials supplied.
