We’ll sail through Grüner Veltliner and Riesling in all its guises, from sparkling to sweet via crisp, fruity quaffers and powerful, spicy dry wines. We’ll cover regions such as the Mittelmosel, Rheingau and Rheinhessen in Germany and the prestigious Wachau Valley in Austria, looking at crystalline purity and complexity derived from steep sites of slate and schist.
