Calling citizens scientists young and old, any experience level, for a relaxed, outdoor summer picnic tea and Moth Night in the beautiful Brownhill Creek/Wirraparinga valley.

Your hosts? The scientists from Ferox australis and Rossi from the Bee Hub.

There'll be:

information about moths and other pollinators
training to use the iNaturalist citizen science app
honey tasting and homemade pizza
host-plant bundles to buy
insect displays to look at
friendly and knowledgeable people to chat with

When the sun goes down, we'll go for a short guided walk through the surrounding area, put the screens up and the lights on, and you'll have a chance to observe moths and other wildlife using the iNaturalist app.

A tasty picnic tea will be served individually. Be sure to let us know about any special dietary requirements.
