Shining Rainbow is a contemporary artist, with a vast body of work, hailing from the escapement of the Illawarra.

She also makes amazing up-cycled wearable pieces and will be running our beading workshop! This is special opportunity to create something gorgeous for you to gift, or even wear yourself.

All tools and materials are provided for this beading workshop. Rainbow's special skill is repurposing that little sentimental thing, that probably lives in an old shoebox somewhere- but you just cannot bare to throw away.

So join this workshop and give that thing a new lease of life and make it something you can wear, carry and hold again.

Beginners Wood Jewellery with Isabelle from Mister Moose MAY 11 10am-12pm

Isabelle Chaumont Beginners Wood Jewellery, $50+gst per person (all materials included)

Isabelle is Mum to two little boys, and a self taught watercolour artist with a love for lettering and all things Australian. She loves to paint our native flora and fauna, which she then creates beautiful greeting cards, washi tapes, earrings and art prints.

Isabelle has her wonderful products stocked in select stores Australia wide, and has collaborated with different small businesses to create fabrics, wall decals and other projects.

Isabelle has a way of bringing out the creativity in those around her, and we look forward to her teaching art workshops with us at Picton WorkLife. In this class you will-

  • Choose between two earring designs (studs or dangles), made from wood.
  • Learn to use acrylic paint pens.
  • Paint between the lines, to “colour in” the design.
  • Seal the design with an acrylic sealant.
  • Create the jewellery using surgical steel earring findings.
  • Take home your beautiful, wooden earrings.
