Family is at the heart of everything we do. A visit to our farm is all about connecting; connecting with loved ones, connecting with the farmers, connecting with the land, and with the animals.
Our Mother's Day Market Day & Picnic celebrates the joy we get from sharing our farm with other families, to make memories that last a lifetime.
As with all our Market Days, we'll have the farm larder open for you to fill your empty picnic baskets on your way out, plus just a few extra special stalls with local products for Mother's Day.
Picnic under the shade of the blue gums, with views to the Lost World and beyond. Stroll to the river and take in the peaceful sounds of the Albert. Taste your way around the farm with picnic hampers featuring our farm delicacies and local produce.

Head off on your own animal feeding adventure; meet our dewy-eyed calves and cows, boisterous sheep and crazy goats, chickens and ducks, guinea pigs and of course, our cheeky pigs. Don't miss the smashing pumpkins pig feeding with the farmers. A hit with the children and adults alike.
Why not take a wander down the river and dip your feet in the cool waters of the Albert?
Perhaps a picnic blanket and one of our gourmet picnic hampers (pre-order only) might be just the thing for your family this Mother's Day.
Speaking of picnics, this year you'll again be able to reserve a picnic spot - complete with chairs and tables or hay bales and blankets, and umbrella (check inclusions when booking). No need to lug in your whole picnic set up - it will all be ready for you. Limited reserved places are available so be quick to secure yours. Of course, you're very welcome to roll up on the day complete with your own picnic gear and find a lovely spot on our beautiful farm.
This year, we've asked our mates at Embers Wood Fire Dining to prepare some extra special Mother's Day hampers for our guests. The boys at Embers (hatted chefs previously from Beechmont Estate, now sharing the Scenic Rim Eat Local delicacies far and wide through their own business) really know how to showcase local food. They'll be creating some gorgeous hampers featuring our farm pork, Harry's vege, and our Jersey Girl goodness. Think pork Banh Mi, pork paté, pickles, ferments, lavosh crackers and dips - all made from scratch by the team at Embers. Remember to order your hampers with your ticket purchase - these babies are pre-order only! We won't be offering these for sale on the day (pre-orders only).
Our kids activity area will have a collection of bits and bobs gathered from around the farm and beyond, and all the goodies needed to make a beautiful handmade gift for Mum. And as an extra special gift from the farm, we'll have Harry's heirloom seeds and cute little compostable pots for the kids to plant and gift to mum.
Feel free to wander through Harry's market garden and the flower garden.
Family portrait sittings by Kaddy Photography are back again this year! 20 minute sessions with gorgeous backdrops around the farm. The perfect Mother's Day memento. Spaces are very limited and sittings must be booked with your ticket purchase.
Our friends at Barney Creek Vineyard will be joining us again this year with their amazing range of wines available on the day. Purchase by the glass, or a bottle to share. We're so thrilled to have them join us with their beautiful local product. The perfect accompaniment to an Embers gourmet hamper. And, we'll have coffee and iced tea for you too! A select few local artisans and producers will offer their wares with market stalls on the day as well.
We'll have our Jersey Girl gourmet ice creams of course, and the Farm Larder will be stocked with all our farm deliciousness for you take home! Harry's biodynamic/organic veg will be available too.
Prefer to BYO picnic, no problem. We're happy for you to enjoy your own picnic on our farm.
With a true country atmosphere and picturesque views in abundance, our farm is the perfect place to celebrate this Mother's Day.
