Event description
A special person, a special day, a special place! A day in the beautiful Hunter Region Botanic Gardens is an ideal way to spend some tranquil time with mum. Bring a picnic, or purchase one of our fabulous grazing boxes (by Feast & Foliage), or enjoy a sausage sizzle provided by our Gardens volunteers. Scones and cupcakes will also be available.
Entertainment from the 'Jumpin' Jukebox Duo' playing hits from the 50's through to today. Lawn games and face painting for the kids.
There will be market stalls with an array of goods on offer such as - macrame goods by Knots of Love; quality resin-painted lazy-susans and coaster sets by Birdies Enchanted; funky earrings, badges and gifts from Bits and Bobs; artworks and cards by Julia Jay Art; quilts, reading pocket pillows, kids hats and aprons by DJ's Quilts & More, jewellery, scrunchies and coffee mugs by SEK Designs. This year we will also have a 'Pamper Pavilion' offering 20 minute mini-session for $30. Card readings by Deb, foot massage by Elise, energy healings by Karen and neck & shoulder massage by Janine. Sessions will be 10.30, 11.00, 11.30, 12.00, 12.30, 1.00 and 1.30. Pre-bookings for these sessions are available by emailing events@huntergardens.org.au or may be booked on the day if still available. See below for practitioner profiles.
Entry prices to Gardens on the day: $20 per family (2 adults, up to 3 children), $10 per adult, $5 per child (0-2 years free)
Free complimentary plant for all mums.
Grazing box/Ploughman's Lunch orders close on Friday 10th May at 3.00pm.
We do have some picnic tables and trestle tables available or you may bring your own. No reserved tables this year. Come early to get the best spot!

Debra Jackson

Elise is a fully qualified Remedial Massage Therapist, and a Reiki practitioner. She will be available for a relaxing hand massage of reflexology using coconut oil with aromatherapy highlights of pure essential oils and the benefits they hold for our mind, body and soul. In addition, the treatment on the day will include: your choice of Crystal grids hand Massage to the specific area or Balancing Chakra's and running energy crystal wand activation. For High frequency vibrations. Crystal grids and Aura Mist sprays will be available for you on the day to sample and clear any of the world's negativity that attaches to our aura on our Earth walk. I invite you to ask any question you may have regarding, the practical uses of essential oils and the benefits of Crystal grids for mental health and mind, body soul harmony.
