Our 4th annual afternoon of tea is coming up!
As someone who lost her mother at a young age, Atiya (our Founder) holds a deep appreciation for the many women who have poured into her throughout her upbringing. During a design charrette with Nature Sacred to enhance our Peace Pond, she mentioned that many people close to the BLISS Meadows project have also lost their mothers. Thus, a “Mother’s Garden” around the Peace Pond was designed.
Our first annual tea party celebrated the groundbreaking of our Sacred Place at BLISS Meadows. Every year, around Mother’s Day, we dress to the nines and celebrate the women who have helped us become who we are. We know familial connections do not often follow traditional routes, and we thrive in a healthy, intergenerational community. You are welcome to bring your aunties, cousins, sisters, and neighbors.
