Mother Guilt is BIG, and it starts from the moment our wee ones are born. Before they are born even! Not feeling like you are doing a good enough job at parenting, working, being in a loving relationship or not, running a household … all the while trying to squeeze in a tiny bit of self-care to make ourselves feel physically and emotionally better, because you know that it will help to cope with the demands of being a mother, can be more challenging than you expected.

The voices in our head can whisper or shout at us … “Am I doing it right?”, “I need to do more”, “I should have done this”, “I shouldn’t have done that”, “I shouldn’t be feeling this way”, “I should be grateful for what I’ve got” and the voices go on and at times they get louder and louder, creating self doubt about our mothering.

With so much information out there of how to do things, and how not to do things and all the "helpful" friends and family members with their opinions; It can feel overwhelming and tiresome. Sometimes our confidence is eroded as we only strive to do what is best for our most precious bundle and/ or children. This can feel HUGE for any mother especially those with their first-borns. I TOTALLY understand - I have done this 5 times and each experience brings its own challenges and wins.

This hugely supportive post-partum and mothering course will NOT tell you how to mother your baby, or parent your child, but what it will do is teach you how to tune into your intuition and your deep knowing, so that you come away feeling more confident parenting the way that feels right for you! Over the 5 sessions a safe space will be created for you to share your thoughts and feelings about what you are experiencing, without judgement or unneeded advice. This is time where you will feel truly nurtured and listened to, feel fully "held" and heard and an opportunity to connect fully with your baby and child as we explore this sacred rite of passage into motherhood, also known as matrescence.

Together in a trusting circle of conscious and aware mothers, over 5 sessions we will delve deeply into YOUR journey into motherhood through meditation, art, of course talking and listening. You will come away....

Knowing how to have more compassion for yourself as a mother by recognizing and acknowledging your own internal voices that criticize you, make you feel guilty, drive you to want to do it better, create worry and anxiety because you want to know whether you are doing it right or good enough.
Knowing how to be compassionate and empathetic to yourself allows you to deepen your connection with your children.
Being able to face mother guilt and keep her in check
Feeling more deeply connected with and in awe of your amazing baby/ child(ren)
Feeling listened to and understood, supported and cared about.
Knowing how to mother from intuition rather than societal expectations and norms.
With a different more positive belief about yourself because of your birth experience and an understanding on how your birth experience is affecting your life (both positively and negatively)
Feeling seen as a great mother.

If you are a mum with a new baby this course is ideal. If you are a mum with children of any age and you would love to dive further into intuitive and aware parenting or seeking a deep connection and support with other mothers, then this is for you! It is being delivered online so you can enjoy the comforts of your own bed or sofa, dressing gown and still have your baby, toddler, children around you. All you will need is an open heart, some pens and paper to hand and zoom downloaded.

A suggested donation for this beautiful supportive experience is between $50 and $125 for 5 sessions. You can choose how much you would like to donate or not, but all that is asked is full commitment to all 5 sessions, of course with your child - whether they are awake, sleeping, feeding or crying - (as we won’t be able to hear them!)
