A Space to Gather, Reflect & Connect
There is something that happens when women gather.
When we step away from the noise of everyday life, sit alongside one another and create enough space to hear ourselves again.
These gatherings are an invitation to do just that.
A place to pause.
A place to connect.
A place to be witnessed.
A place to remember that we were never meant to navigate life alone.
At Human Rites, we believe there is enormous wisdom in bringing women together across different ages, experiences and seasons of life.
You may be a mother navigating the intensity of raising children.
You may be moving through a transition of your own.
You may be questioning what comes next.
You may be longing for deeper connection with other women.
Or you may simply feel called to gather.
This is not a space for perfecting ourselves.
There is no expectation that you arrive with everything figured out.
This is not about advice giving, fixing one another or being told how to live our lives.
Instead, we are creating a space where our nervous systems can soften enough for us to listen — to one another, and perhaps more importantly, to ourselves.
Because beneath all the noise, expectations and opinions about who we should be, there is an inner voice.
Sometimes we just need enough space to hear her.
A circle for all seasons of womanhood
Our conversations will change as the women in the room change.
We may explore motherhood, relationships, identity, adolescence, family, transitions, belonging, grief, purpose, boundaries, ageing, the changing seasons of womanhood, or simply what is present in our lives right now.
There is no requirement to have a particular experience or be at a particular stage of life.
Part of the richness is having women at different places on the path sitting beside one another.
Women learning from women.
Women witnessing women.
Women remembering together.
What to expect
Our gatherings may include:
a simple opening and grounding
guided reflection or meditation
an intentional sharing circle
honest conversation
time for connection over tea
space to listen without fixing or advising
opportunities to explore what is alive for you in this season
You are always welcome to simply listen. There is never an expectation to share more than feels right for you.
And because we believe women should not always have to separate themselves from their children in order to access community, babies and young children are welcome at our daytime gatherings.
There may be babies feeding, toddlers moving, women stepping in and out, laughter, tears and interruptions.
Life is welcome here.
Why we gather
Many of us are surrounded by people and yet deeply missing meaningful community.
We have information everywhere, but fewer places to sit together and make sense of our lives.
We want to help rebuild those places.
Not by recreating something perfectly.
But by beginning.
One circle.
One conversation.
One relationship at a time.
These gatherings are part of a wider Human Rites vision to restore spaces of connection, reflection and meaningful transition throughout our lives.
Come exactly as you are.
You don't need to have done women's work before.
You don't need to know what you will say.
You don't need to be a mother.
You simply need to feel the invitation to gather.
