In a world where our villages have vanished and family connections are disconnected or stretched thin, we’re missing the wisdom and warmth of gathering together as women.

MOTHER is 4 weeks of support for women navigating their emotional and hormonal shifts while their children move through their own growth and change.

We need to share. We need to listen. We need to feel seen. Sharing stories and gathering togerther (even online) reminds us of our shared humanity. It’s in these moments of vulnerability that we find strength, connection, and the reassurance that we’re not alone. By

In MOTHER you will:

✨ Feel Less Alone - Connect with stories and experiences that resonate deeply.

✨ Practice Vulnerability - Witness the transformative power of opening up.

✨ Build Community - Connect with like-minded mothers on the journey of growth.

✨ Experience Empathy - Be supported by others who truly understand.

Join Emily Brewer and Alita Blanchard 4 weeks of heartfelt connection, where we share and listen with empathy and understanding. As mothers navigating the stormy seas of perimenopause and parenting our 6 children as they enter into tweens and teens, we know the challenges all too well.

🌟 You are worthy of support. 🌟

This program offers a compassionate space to share, soften fears, gain understanding and nervous system support

Sharing our stories –

Each session begins with a circle of sharing, where you can share your highs and lows. This sharing builds a sense of community, normalises the messiness of life and helps you to feel less alone in your journey.

Softening Fear –

We will explore ways to soften the fear that arises in motherhood. Whether it is fear of the future, fear of losing control, fear of not being enough, we address these emotions with compassion and understanding.

Strengthening Self Compassion –

Learning to be compassionate to yourself is essential for both your physical and emotional health. We will introduce the importance of self compassion and its ability to reduce stress and build more nervous system regulation. We will share a few of our favourite practices.

Supporting Nervous Systems –

Drawing on evidence-based nervous system support, we will introduce some tools for nervous system and emotional care to help you build capacity to regulate your own nervous system, so you can offer more emotional empathy to your children when they are dysregulated.

Riding the Waves of Emotions –

Emotions can be turbulent during developmental and hormonal changes. We will help you normalise the waves of emotions in yourself and your children and build a deeper connection to your own inner resources.

Why join MOTHER?

Because it’s YOU that has the biggest influence on your child’s ability to learn to emotionally regulate as they move through life’s challenging moments.
Our children need what WE need - to feel safe, seen and soothed to feel secure.
To feel supported because it’s HARD to hold space for your children and all their feelings if no one is listening to yours.
Being PRESENT & SHARING within a safe space with compassionate witnesses is an powerful way to grow, connect and foster deep emotional growth.
We all need safe spaces to make sense of our big emotions.
To learn simple body based tools you can implement throughout your day to support your nervous system and discharge some of the stress you’ve been carrying too long.
Because Parenting can be HARD - You need connection and community on your journey through motherhood and for many people this is hard to find.

FACILITATORS:

ALITA BLANCHARD

Nervous system informed Parent Coach, Holistic Counsellor (trainee), Emotional Release practitioner and Mother of 4 boys

Having experienced many big feelings and dysregulation in my home - my own and my kids - I have had to build tools for nervous system care and self compassion so that I could BECOME the be the parent I wanted to be. I learned to listen to tears, tantrums, ride the storms of meltdowns and support my children through hard seasons of aggression and anxiety without using fear, punishment and shame. And to do this, I had to learn to support myself - through practicing vulnerability, learning, seeking information, building support systems and learning to soften my own high expectations and fear of judgement.

I am committed to changing the paradigm of parenting to one that is based on connection, safety and worthiness. And to do that we need to feel a sense of belonging and worthiness ourselves. This has been my journey and one I am so honoured to guide you on also.

With a high value on growth, I am always expanding my study of trauma, somatic and sensory therapy, aggression, anxiety, nutrition, gut health, emotional release, sensitive nervous systems and play. As a highly sensitive person (HSP) myself and raising sensitive, deep feeling kids in a world that doesn’t prioritise the mental and emotional wellbeing of children OR their parents, I am so passionate about supporting mothers to be the safest person for their children.

EMILY BREWER

Emotional Wellness Coach, Emotional Release & Root Cause Practitioner and Mother of 3 Boys

Through my journey of motherhood, navigating chronic eczema and allergies with my eldest child and riding the rollercoaster of emotions that come with being a mother to 3 energetic boys, I became fascinated in the mind-body connection. Like many mothers I didn’t have any real understanding of emotions and I suppressed A LOT. It was a revelation to begin to learn about and understand where emotions come from, that there are no ‘good’ or ‘bad’ emotions and how to overcome perfectionism, self-criticism, shame and a lack of self-confidence.

I believe that the health of a family begins with the mother and that she holds a pivotal role in the energy dynamics of the family. It’s a big responsibility to carry and I am committed to and deeply passionate about supporting women to understand the relationship between their emotions, their physical health and the well-being of their family. My mission is to empower mothers emotionally, so that we can pave the way for future generations to grow up more compassionate, resilient, loving, and healthier in mind and body.

I’m driven by an insatiable curiosity to understand more about life. I’ve invested many hours researching and attending seminars and workshops on nutrition, natural medicine, alternative healing modalities, gut & brain health, mindfulness, low tox living, attachment-based developmental parenting, somatic therapy and more. I love holding space for mothers and supporting them in the most important job they do – raising children.

QUESTIONS

I have my kids home on TUESDAYS! How can this work?

- Can you prepare them with a big Sensory Snack Plate - something crunchy, chewy, tarty, sweet, cold icy drinks - and set them up with an age appropriate movie or Bluey and snuggle on the couch while you join with a hot cuppa? Sometimes we need to get creative to get our needs met as mothers. You can join on Mute, Video off if that's easier and just share if you have capacity.

I can't attend the calls LIVE, are they recorded?

- The calls in this program are NOT recorded so you need to be able to attend Live.

How do I get to know the other mothers?

- you will learn about others mothers as they share in the Zoom calls and we will encourage connection outside the group

- you will chat and share in a private Whatsapp chat to build an ongoing community of support.

TESTIMONIALS / KIND WORDS

I honestly feel like this women's circle, created by Alita, has been the right kind of place I needed to be in for postpartum and my mothering journey. I'd been looking for some kind of community or connections with other mothers who also want to have the real, raw and deep conversations about their motherhood experiences but hadn't found something till this. I've really appreciated the connections made in the group. For the first time since becoming a mum, I felt seen, heard and acknowledged. I was able to truly share without feeling judged or worrying about being ashamed, and without being given unsolicited, unnecessary advice. The teachings that Alita shared were really valuable and applicable to the feelings and experiences of being a mum and I got a lot out of them. I appreciated each person's vulnerability to share their personal experience with me and allow me to do the same with them, and resonated with parts of their story or their feelings. I really felt like I "belonged" and felt in solidarity with other mothers. Thank you Alita for the work you're doing. - Mikal x

Being a part of Belonging has been amazing. Alita is a wealth of knowledge and her approach is so kind and welcoming. Being a part of something as simple as voicing your thoughts and being heard is so incredibly powerful and now knowing I have connections I can reach out to when I need, without the fear of judgement, ego or upsetting others is really special. Thank you Alita. - SM

I gained SO much from the Belonging Mother’s Circle. Alita created a space that allowed us all to be vulnerable and then in turn to feel seen and held. Alita really normalises the challenges of motherhood and gives practical tips that can actually fit within the daily realities of parenting. Belonging has changed my perspective and enabled so much growth for me, I’m really grateful. Emma

Soothed Circle has been the most constructive 3-week circle group I have ever been part of. Alita is highly knowledgeable - and knows what she’s talking about as she shared about her own journey of struggle, grief, guilt in motherhood. I felt beyond validated at any given time and it’s been a safe space for me. So many takeaways, useful tools that I’m able to actively use in my own journey of motherhood. Thanks Alita, you are the best. — NB

I learnt so much about myself, how to be with myself and my children in difficult moments and to have compassion for myself. Alita offers so much wisdom and knowledge and I loved learning with her. I feel so grateful to be able to bring what I learnt into my life with my children. It has been life changing and I continue to see shifts in myself. You are a master at holding space and I felt so supported and seen by you and the other amazing women who participated. Soothed Mothers Circle has been so nurturing for me. I have been stuck in quite a negative place, but the vulnerability and compassion showed by Alita and all the other mothers has lifted my spirit. I wasn’t expecting such a positive outcome, but my whole mindset on my motherhood has changed. I now look for the glimmers every day, and appreciating so much more in my life. I feel I have made connections with my listening partners and am overall so grateful for this wonderful experience. Thank you Alita. — BK

Emily has a gift for holding non-judgemental space and I am very grateful for it.

I was struggling as a mother. I was frozen in shame and regret, I was terrified of my children’s distress. To avoid my feelings of deep inadequacy as a mother, I poured all my energy into work until I burned out physically and emotionally. Emily provided a calm and safe space to lift the lid on all I had been avoiding. My capacity is increasing every day. My children have a more present and settled mother, one that can more confidently hold their distress and work through their struggles. This means everything to me. Emily's calm and accepting presence created the safe space I needed to risk opening the floodgates. I will be forever grateful for her work. – Cassandra

I have gained so much insight and person power from our sessions.

Thank you so much for holding space for me and being such a strong support as I wade through the waves of my life. It’s honestly been such a saviour and I truly appreciate it.”- Nikki

Thank you again - you have changed my life.

I was suffering from extreme health anxiety and was heading into a depression that scared me. I hadn't paid attention to my perimenopausal symptoms over the last few years. Emily helped me navigate scattered feelings, sensations and behaviour. Your ability to hold space is remarkable. You never quit on me even when I thought I was too broken. Thank you for being my lighthouse in this crazy storm. Your belief in my healing has made all the difference, I can't thank you enough. - Anna

Working with Emily is changing my life and in turn the life of my daughter.

I have found that I am triggered less by the moments in my life that hurt me, and I feel lighter and less tied to my past than I did. My daughter much prefers this happier Mummy! – Nicky
