Motions & Emotions Presents: Leg Day!

Join us Saturday, April 25, 2025 for our version of Leg Day!

Just like our previous Motions & Emotions workshops, think of this like a mobility sandwich, and in this one, we’re giving some extra love to the lower body.

Like every good sandwich, we start with the foundation: the bottom bun. We’ll drop in with grounding yoga led by Narina. These opening asanas will help you connect breath to movement and bring awareness to your current range of motion — especially in the lower body. Expect intentional, exploratory poses to wake up your hips, legs, and ankles.

From there, we’ll move into the meat of the sandwich — targeted mobility work for the lower body. Adam will guide you through a progressive sequence designed to increase joint mobility, stability, and usable range of motion from your hips down to your toes. You’ll practice functional movements to help your body move more freely, reduce stiffness, and support longevity in the joints that carry you through life.

To complete the sandwich, we’ll close with a top bun of yoga. Returning to familiar poses, you'll explore how your body responds now — think of it like a test-retest opportunity that invites reflection and deeper embodiment.

After emerging from savasana, we’ll open up space for Q&A — an opportunity to ask questions, share insights, and gather tools to integrate into your movement practice.

Our intention is for you to walk away feeling more grounded, agile, and at home in your body. Whether you're just beginning your movement journey or looking to refine your practice, this experience will support your physical and emotional well-being.
