Event description

Join us Saturday, March 22nd for our next Motions & Emotions workshop! This time we will be focusing on your head, shoulders, knees, and toes. Think of this like a mobility sandwich. Like every sandwich, we start with the foundation, the bottom bun. We start by dropping in with some yoga. Narina will take you through specific poses (asanas) that explore your current ranges of motion to wake up the connection between your mind and body.

From there, we’ll transition to the meat of the sandwich: training the mobility of the neck, shoulders, knees, and feet. Adam will take you through a sequence of movements designed to enhance your flexibility and usable range of motion. The sequence is designed as a progression, meaning each movement layers on top of the last in a way that ensures you get the most out of each joint.

We’ll top off our mobility sandwich with a sesame seed bun aka more yoga. You will be guided through similar poses (asanas) we found in the first part of the sandwich, exploring how things feel in your mind and body the second time around. Think of it as a test, retest kind of thing.

Once we emerge from savasana, we will wrap up the experience with time to reflect on your experience, an open Q&A session, and share insights.

Our goal is for this experience to enhance your physical and emotional well-being. Whether you’re new to these practices or looking to refine your skills, you will walk away feeling more at home in your body and have actionable steps to bring into your personal movement practices.

To ensure everyone can receive hands-on assistance, space is limited to 20 attendees; so, reserve your spot today!

What to Bring: Exercise mat, water bottle, sun protection (think hat & sunscreen), notebook & pen.

Let’s move, grow and transform together. We can’t wait to see you there!
