For one day only, Cleanup Kitsune presents “Mottainai Market” located in Balboa Park, San Diego on November 14th, next to the recital hall. Mottainai Market is a circular fair of waste & whimsy ✨

🌎 We are bringing together sustainable vendors, environmental organizations, entertainment and education with interactive experiences for kids, big and small. Learn about the wonders of waste, how to take better care of nature and fun ways to upcylce your life!

🛼 Got some roller skates or coats you’ve out grown? Some art, toys or games that need a new home? An abundance of toaster ovens, tea sets or sweaters? A lamp or camp lantern that might light the way for another?

Well dear friends, we have the place for you! Bring any new or gently used, great condition item or bundled set valued at $20 or more, and receive a token to trade for used goods from the Tsukumogami Swap Shop! A place where your gently loved items may find a new human and home. *One token per person with all $20 or more donations.

We accept clothing and shoes, household items, working appliances, books, toys and games in gently used or great condition. A wonderful opportunity to thin out the kiddo’s toy chest!

🎐 Want more fun things?! Hear the story of Cleanup Kitsune through the Japanese art form of Kamishibai and get to know their earth friendly yokai friends all throughout the market! THEY CAN’T WAIT TO MEET YOU! Whoops, we are yelling again. Apologies. Just really excited, okay!
