Mount Barker Railway Station Centenary Open Day
Event description
The Mount Barker Railway Station has been a hub for the Plantagenet community since it's completion in 1924. From 1924 - 1984, the station was a busy service centre, and from 1998 became a vibrant tourist centre. The station was regarded as the most "up-to-date" station outside of Perth and is still a much loved public building, enjoyed by locals and visitors.
Join local community leaders and members to help celebrate this momentous occasion with a special morning tea, presentations and story telling, along with the launch of our Limited Edition Commemorative Riesling fundraiser and "Trainspotting" Community Art Trail.
Ticket bookings are essential for catering.
