Mount Barker Science Fair 19 May Morning Session 10.00am - 1.00pm

Event description

Thanks to our sponsors, Mount Barker Kia, Cornerstone College, the District Council of Mount Barker and KX Pilates at Totness, The Science Collective returns to Cornerstone College in Mount Barker for the fourth annual Science Fair with some brand new attractions and plenty of your favourite activities of previous fairs.  There will be two three-hour sessions on the day (10.00am-1.00pm and 2.00pm-5.00pm) and each session will have amazing science shows, engaging displays and plenty of hands-on activities to keep young family members busy for the entire session.

SciFiBri's Fire & Froth Show is not to be missed, Prof Flint is back with his hilarious sing-a-long Dinosaur show and Animals Anonymous returns with an engaging Native Animal Show and display.  SciWorld's huge inflatable planetarium will take you on a journey through the night sky and Roboroos will be there with a come-and-try robotics program. The Marine Discovery Centre will have a large marine ecology display and Dig-a-Dino's 'ball pit' and huge dinosaur will entertain younger visitors.  The shows and attractions will be complemented by a range of hands-on science fun activities and an upgraded electric circuit challenge. The Australian Dalek Builders Union will have an impressive display of (slightly scary) Daleks with their regular (but hollow) EXTERMINATE threats.

Hungry?  No problems.  The Lions Club of Mount Barker will be there with inexpensive BBQ offerings and the Crowded Table coffee van will be there with some sweet treats and fabulous coffee.

We know that with costs rising in many areas a day out with the family needs to be affordable.  So we have kept the entrance fees as low as possible with a family ticket available for just $32 (2 + 2 or 1 + 3) and all adults at the children's price of just $10.

There is limited capacity within Inbarendi, the Cornerstone sporting facility, so don't delay in booking your tickets now at www.thesciencecollective.com
