Mount Burnett Observatory

Mount Burnett Observatory was built in 1972 by Monash University as a research facility, but fell into disrepair in the early 2000s.

Now enthusiastically restored, come tour the observatory and see the Monash Dome and the 18-inch telescope, the Celestron Dome, the Log Cabin and specialist astronomy displays. Visitors on the evening tours will have the opportunity to view the night sky through the telescopes (weather permitting).
