Event description
The annual Mount Gambier Science Fair on 13th November returns for a second time to the Showgrounds with new shows and activities to delight and engage all ages at morning and afternoon sessions.
A highlight this year will be an amazing Science Magic Show presented by none other than Prof Magic! (aka George Stas). Is it science or is it magic, you be the judge. Simon from Animal Relocation and Education is also bringing his Wildlife Show to town for the first time and having a display that includes some of the nation's most venomous snakes (under lock and key, of course).
Naturally, there will be slime! But also a large display by bugs n slugs, hands-on exhibits from Questacon, an electric circuits activity and a chance for children to challenge themselves in a range of new science and engineering activity areas.
So much fun in every corner of the Showgrounds Halls. It has to be the event that the kids will never want to leave.
