Mount Lofty Botanic Garden: A ‘Home’ of magic and mystery
Opened in 1977, the garden features a network of gullies. Collections come from a range of areas such as New Zealand, South and North America, Asia and Australia. Features include magnolias, rhododendrons and ferns. The garden has many walks ranging from around the Main Lake, suitable for visitors with limited mobility, to a ramble up gullies with breathtaking views over the Piccadilly Valley. The garden beds around the lower car park showcase a diverse array of ornamentals and edibles suitable for a ‘Home’.
Free 1.5 hours Max booking 8 persons.
Weekly Thursdays 5th and 12th October 10.30am - meet at the lower car park.
