Move Sundays
Event description
Move Sundays is a weekly conscious dance event, running for two hours each Sunday from 10am.
Conscious dance is a fun way to get into your body, to shake off energy, to express yourself in a safe and inspiring environment. Music is curated in a fashion which is referred to as a wave, building, peaking and easing. Music is sourced from across all genres, from DnB to folk, from funky breaks to orchestral and of course always a classic or two weaved in the mix. All that is required is to show up and to ride the wave.
Move Sundays is open to people of all ages.
It is important to note that for the two hours when dance is running it is a talk free space. This is to allow everyone the time to enjoy their dance without chatter.
There is a cafe next door to enjoy a good catch up after dance. You will be asked to leave if you cannot respect the safety and care of other participants. Any youngsters must be able to observe the no talk rules. Adults will be dancing freely through the space with music that will at times contain adult themes and coarse language.
What to bring:
Drink bottle with water, can re fill from kitchen. Loose fitting clothing such as that you would exercise in or do yoga. A towel to lay on at the end of dance.
Plenty of parking onsite.
