A Soul Motion Taster with Stewart Pryor

Stewart a newly graduated Soul Motion teacher will teach this vibrant conscious dance form. This class will focus particularly on the Soul Motion platform of "Pause Presence" (see below) and our experience of non linear time when dancing. Through these anchors, you'll be invited into exploring your dance as a moment by moment experience of infinite potential, spontaneous movement and heartfelt connection.

A time to move, a time to free the body, to enliven the senses as well as listen to them. This is sacred dance time, where you get to be yourself and do the dance that no one else can, where your movement heals and reveals, the breath becomes fluid and the soul rejoices.

When you visit a Soul Motion class, you are escorted through four relational landscapes while playing in a field of three core movement platforms.

The Four Relational Landscapes

Dance Intimate… the dance alone
Dance Communion… the dance with one other
Dance Community… the dance with everyone
Dance Infinity… the dance in the everyday life

The Three Core Activity Platforms

- Pause Presence - A go-to place in the dance that opens the dancer to the benefits of active stillness and a relaxed view of the witness.
- Orbit Orientation - The dancer is realigned with the natural movement of spiral and circle both within and outwardly.
- Echo Inspiration - The dancer is ushered into the creative field of inspiration being received and released.

We dance mid week because it fills our cup, we dance for release, healing, pleasure and grounding but most of all because it reminds us of who we really are, and that can not be written or spoken, it must be felt.

Door open 6:15pm, this is precious warm up time, lovely music will help you settle into the space.

Doors close at 6:30 no entry after then, guidance begins setting the evenings movement resource.

Dance until 8:00 when we slow to a closing circle taking us to 8:15

Dancing Dhevas is a free form practice that invites you to engage in life as only you can, to move with such authenticity that it liberates the bubbles of ecstasy.

Conscious Dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.

Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities in one moment.
