After the storm, there is sunshine and bright skies. We make the most of these days before autumn truly arrives.

Move and be moved under open skies. Feel the gentle sea breeze on your skin, the warmth of the sun above, and perhaps a cool ocean swim after a good sweat.

MOVED is a mindful outdoor dance experience designed to support healthy, embodied living. The music is mixed with the flow and skill of a DJ, yet guided with the clarity and intention of a class. You are free to move however you wish — and gently encouraged to expand that freedom each time you step into your dance.

For these open-air sessions, we’ll be dancing with hi-def silent disco headsets, delivering crystal-clear sound directly to you without affecting natures critters and the serenity of our coastal surroundings. Immersive, intimate, and surprisingly powerful — it allows us to move deeply together without disturbing the landscape we’re dancing on.

Led by a certified teacher of Open Floor International, the session follows a dynamic movement cycle that rises and falls — echoing the rhythms of tides, breath, seasons, and the natural world around us.

Our soundtrack is eclectic and expansive: from classical to rock, tribal to electronic, ambient to anthemic. It’s not about the genre — though great music certainly helps. A diverse soundscape invites diverse expression, includes everyone on the dance floor, and reflects the richness of our community.

We gather midweek to refill our cups. We dance for release, for healing, for pleasure and grounding. We dance to reconnect — with the earth beneath us, the ocean beside us, and something essential within.

Who we truly are cannot be written or spoken.
It must be felt.

Bring water, layers for the breeze, and your willingness to move.

Check in and pick up headsets from 6:15pm, this is precious warm up time, lovely music will help you settle into the space.

Check in closes at 6:30pm no entry after then, guidance begins setting the evenings movement resource.

We dance until 7:45pm when we slow to a closing circle taking us to 8:00pm

$1-100 Pay it forward Add a little donation to help those unable to afford a ticket make it to dance for their emotional and mental well being. Dancing Dhevas will match your donation. If you need assistance getting to a dance reach out to us before the day and we can allocate a ticket for you.

Dancing Dhevas is a free form practice that invites you to engage in life as only you can, to move with such authenticity that it liberates the bubbles of ecstasy.

Conscious Dance is a process of delving into your own individual, original dance, it is so unique to you and how you move that it can not be reproduced by anyone else. This gives us the freedom from constraints and judgements so we can explode our potential to move until it unleashes the dancer within. The room takes on a different energy as everyone drops into their dance and natural ecstasy is reached.

Come as you are or bring a friend, we share a dance floor of like minded souls who move as one and celebrate life in all its complexities in one moment.
