Camera Electronic along with Sony is hosting a workshop on movement in portraits to create stunning photographs At Huzzard Studios, your instructor will be award winning photographer Hirak Bhatttacharjee who will guide you on his process to create these beautiful images.
There will be a chance for you to take your own images with your gear or try out one of the many Sony cameras and lenses that will be available on the night. As an added bonus there will great pricing on Sony gear for attendees.

About the Instructor
Hirak Bhatttacharjee
As a former geologist with a PhD who spent 17 years in the mining industry Hirak shifted into photography in 2017, making it his full time career in 2021. After completing a Postgraduate Diploma in Photography, he built a practice grounded in his strongest skill and one the important skills - understanding light. Hirak has earned more than 100 international awards, including Australian Photographer of the Year (2024), International Photographer of the Year in New York (2023), Tokyo International Foto Awards (2024), and Budapest International Foto Awards (2023). My work has appeared in The Guardian, UK Telegraph, and has been exhibited at the Royal Society in London. Hirak is an active member of the South Perth Camera Club achieving Photographer of the Year for 2025-202626. Alongside fashion work, Hirak photographs weddings and family portraits - though astrophotography is where his journey began and remains a core passion.
