Event description
Movement for Education is designed for dance/ movement and grade teachers. You will gain skills and ideas for classroom activities that provide a breathing counterbalance to desk work, help children ‘inhabit’ their bodies healthily with a sound sense of rhythm, well-activated lower senses, and overall joy in movement. You will encounter a variety of movement disciplines inspired by an anthroposophical understanding of the human being, that are developmentally responsive and integrate all aspects of the child: body, soul, and spirit.
