Movie Fundraiser - Minions: The Rise of Gru
Event description
We are holding a fundraising movie event in memory of our beloved husband and dad David Singh who fought courageously with anaplastic astrocytoma grade III, a slow growing form of brain cancer until 28th May 2017 aged 26.
"Go beyond your comfort zone and live life to the fullest." This is the motto Dave lived by. This is what I am doing this October by Trekking Tasmania to raise money for Cure For Brain Cancer Foundation.
He was a passionate musician, trombonist and teacher who inspired his students and other musicians alike.
Bitten by the travel bug, he loved to see the world. The positive from his Brain Cancer diagnosis was that he lived life to the fullest. In June 2016 he went on a spontaneous holiday to Fiji where we met. After a whirlwind romance he proposed in the gardens in Melbourne and eventually relocated to Orange, NSW. Dave's cancer developed to GMB IV. After our dream wedding in April, 2017, devastatingly he lost his battle 50 days later.
David's greatest fear wasn't death itself, it was not having had enough time to make a difference. Little did he know the huge impact that he made on his students, friends, colleagues, peers and least of all his family. This is why we thought it was fitting to commemorate his fifth 'angelversary', as he survived 5.5 years with brain cancer, through our fundraising efforts with TrekTassie.

Ticket Price - $25.00 (includes ticket, 1 x small popcorn and 1 x small drink)
There will be a raffle at the conclusion of the movie. Each ticket will automatically go into the draw. Prizes include:
