Event description

The ANU BIPOC Department is running a fundraiser movie night for the Turkey-Syria Earthquake Relief through DirectRelief. We will be screening 'The Swimmers', a movie documenting the real-life story of two Syrian sisters escaping their war-torn home in Damascus, swimming for two hours to reach Greece, and going on to swim in the Rio Olympics.

This event is open to all ANU students - please come by to support the earthquake relief and to watch a film documenting the inspiring lives of two Syrian refugees.
