Description

Our Moving and Munching course includes two interactive and informative sessions, tailored to parents of 3 month – 6 month old babies, and covers a range of topics including your baby's physical and mental milestones, bonding and learning through play, starting solids, nutritional requirements, and stages of development.

Babies are welcome to attend. All Parents & Support People will need their own ticket (1 ticket = 1 attendee)

The November 2026 Moving & Munching course will run on two consecutive Fridays - 13th November 10am - 12pm and 20th November 10am - 12pm.

Cost:
$35 per attendee for OPC Members, $40 for Non-Members or $20 for one session (1 ticket = 1 attendee)

Class dates/times may change due to class sign-ups and expected due dates.

We encourage and empower local families with evidence based childbirth education, new parent classes, and parenting workshops with fully qualified facilitators.

Onewa Parents Centre has been supporting families on the North Shore for over 30 years. We are a non profit organisation run by parents for parents, and our history links back to the original NZ-wide Parents Centre formed in 1952.

With classes available in Birkenhead and Whangaparaoa, we prepare expectant parents for the arrival of a new baby and parenthood. Well known for our coffee groups, our parents form strong connections and an invaluable support network through their first 12 months as new parents, and beyond.
