Moving into Practice: monthly somatic labs
Description
Moving Into Practice is a monthly somatic movement lab that begins with the body-mind as a living ecosystem and place of generative inquiry. Each session includes facilitated somatic explorations of a particular aspect of anatomy and physiology - discovering the body's dynamic, fluid, cellular inner life and its remarkable creative capacity.
Movement themes feed into creative practices such as drawing, writing, and photography as pathways of expression and perception. Develop presence and curiosity while building a somatic language that can enhance creative thinking and making.
Facilitated by Kim Sargent-Wishart, PhD, Certified Body-Mind Centering® Teacher
