Moving through Menopause: A Wise Woman Workshop series
Event description
Menopause is a physical, biological, psychological, social and spiritual transition in every woman’s lifecycle. It is something every woman will experience. It can be seen as an overwhelming struggle or approached as a transformative adventure! As a 50-something ‘Wise Woman’, I know only too well the changes and challenges menopause can present.
Join me, Jane Crosswell (accredited Yoga for Menopause Teacher) for my new Wise Woman Workshop series, as we explore ways to support and nurture our minds and bodies through yoga practices, breathwork, meditation and guided relaxation specifically focused on menopause. We explore practices that help ease the myriad of symptoms that you might experience as you move into this next exciting phase of your life.
In each workshop, we will explore a different aspect of menopause in a practical way. In these sessions, you will have an opportunity to share your experiences in a safe and confidential space with like-minded women.
You will go home feeling more alive, nourished and empowered as the wise and wonderful woman that you are, armed with tips and tools to support you as you step confidently and powerfully into your Second Spring.
While tackling the range of menopause symptoms may seem overwhelming, each workshop will break it down into manageable chunks, taking a light-hearted (but practical) look at different focus area each week:
Workshop 1: Anxiety, overwhelm, insomnia and fatigue
Workshop 2: Hot flushes, night sweats. Mood swings, irritability, menopause rage, anger and brain fog
Workshop 3: Low energy and mood, lack of motivation, sadness, grief and depression
Workshop 4: Achy muscles and joints, bone density, osteopenia and osteoporosis.
Who are these workshops for?: Any women experiencing menopausal symptoms, or those wanting to arm themselves with tools to be prepared!
Bookings available for individual workshops - or you can book and attend the whole series! Only 8 spaces available for each workshop.
