Join family & friends to commemorate the talented Australian writer, editor, teacher, wine critic & academic Moya Costello.
Come to a relaxed gathering at the Port Sorell Surf Life Saving Club by the sea that Moya loved so much.
Dress informal and bring your cozzies and sun hats, if you like.
Memorial for Moya
Stay for the afternoon or just pop in for a while. Your presence is welcome and warmly appreciated.
Moya was a keen cultivator of plants, prose and friendships.

Speeches, toasts, readings and open mic - MCed by Australian novelist Nicholas Jose
5pm
Time to say farewell as the afternoon wraps up
A selection of finger food and sweets will be served throughout the arvo. Tea and coffee provided with alcoholic and non-alcoholic refreshments available through the bar.
There will be wine… of course.
Lemon tarts too.
Swim, walk, reflect
Feel free to enjoy a swim or walk along the beach before, during or after the memorial.
Shower facilities are available until 6pm at the Surf Life Saving Club.
Livestream
Speeches, readings and open mic will be livestreamed from 3pm - 4pm AEDT.
