Event description

Cantoris and the Wairarapa Singers proudly present Mozart's most frequently performed choral work, the equally heartbreaking and glorious Requiem. There will be two performances - the first in Masterton at St Matthew's Church on 20 May 2023, 4pm and the second in Wellington at St Peter's on Willis on 28 May, 3pm.

The combined choir will be joined by soloists; Sarah Mileham (Soprano), Kate Manahi (Mezzo-Soprano), Theo Moolenaar (Tenor) and Edward Smith (Bass Baritone).

Formed in 1970, Cantoris was established as a chamber choir with a strong focus on Early Music. Over the last 50 plus years, Cantoris has explored a diverse repertoire of choral music and broadened its range to include works of all sizes, from a range of genres and eras.

Our aim is to bring the joys of live choral music to as wide an audience as possible, so we perform regularly around the Wellington region.
