About the Speaker

Nick is a seasoned professional with over 22 years of experience in the financial sector, having served as a Managing Director and Equities Trader for global investment banks including Citigroup, Merrill Lynch, and Macquarie Bank. Growing up in Melbourne as the youngest of 12 children, Nick developed a strong sense of resilience and adaptability, traits that have guided him throughout his career.

In 2018, after battling anxiety and depression since the age of 21, Nick was formally diagnosed with these conditions. This diagnosis marked a turning point in his life, prompting him to reflect on his personal journey and the impact of mental health in high-stress work environments. His firsthand experience with work-life balance, burnout, and overall happiness led him to a deep understanding of the challenges professionals face in maintaining both career success and personal well-being.

Drawing from his extensive corporate background and lived experience, Nick founded Equilibrium at Work in 2018, a coaching and consulting firm dedicated to helping individuals and organisations achieve better work-life balance and embrace change. Through personalised career coaching, keynote speaking, and tailored workshops, Nick empowers professionals to prioritize mental health, navigate workplace stress, and improve their overall quality of life. His work is centred around promoting sustainable success, fostering positive workplace cultures, and providing practical strategies for well-being.

Nick's approach is rooted in real-life experience, making him a relatable and trusted figure for those looking to make meaningful changes in their professional and personal lives. His mission is to inspire individuals to redefine their relationship with work and find harmony in their careers without compromising their mental and emotional health.
