MR BBQ (Postponed!)
Event description
ANNOUNCEMENT:
DUE TO CIRCUMSTANCES BEYOND OUR CONTROL AT THE VENUE, THIS PRODUCTION IS POSTPONED TO 2025.Â
APOLOGIES FOR ANY INCONVENIENCE - WE LOOK FORWARD TO BRINGING THIS PRODUCTION TO YOU IN APRIL 2025 - DATES TBC.
An entertaining, satirical one-act opera about a man, his dating habits and his BBQ.
Christopher Hillier (ACOCO's The Loser 2022) again takes on a monodrama, with six-piece band, and all the tragedy-comedy that one Australian man's online search for a perfect mate can muster.
Fairfield Amphitheatre is well-serviced by public transport (trains and tram #86)
Nearby parking on site - allow time to walk down (and to enjoy the park)
All weather, outdoor production - bring umbrella for shade and/or rain - or both...
If weather permits, there'll be a sausage sizzle.
And, in the true spirit of the backyard BBQ, it is of course, BYO*Â
(*no glass permitted, and please, take all your rubbish and leftovers home with you.)
