Event description

Macedon Ranges  - Audio Makers Network

  • Do you love audio, want to make a podcast, want to share stories?
  • Do you play with sound, geek out on recording equipment, adore your DAW?
  • Do you want to learn and grow, share and connect through a love of audio?
  • Do you want to collaborate locally to create great content that can make a difference in the world?
  • Do you want to support and be supported by others in your local community who also make audio?

Then come along to the new Macedon Ranges  - Audio Makers Network, an initiative of Highlands FM, your local community radio station.

This invitation is for anyone and everyone with an interest in making audio - from seasoned professionals who’d like to make connections locally, to those with a twinkling of an idea but in need of a support and connection to get going.

My name is Kate Lawrence and I am a local audio producer, storyteller and member of Highlands FM and I want to learn, create and mutually support others in the Macedon Ranges who also want to make audio.

There are three initial meetings two weeks apart, as follows:

7.30pm - 9pm

Monday: 7 and 21 March, 4 April.

Woodend Community Centre

From there we’ll see what direction emerges. The overall aim is an ongoing group, to grow our connections and capacity through the wonderful medium of audio.

You must register so we can keep a track attendees and numbers, (as a covid requirement).

Any questions please email me kate@storyground.com.au, or call me on 0402 080 445.

This event will follow covid safe guidelines. Everyone must check in, show full vaccination status (or have a medical exemption) and wear a mask while indoors.

If you can't attend any of these first meetings, or you're not quire ready, but you want to stay in the loop, sign up here.
