Event description
This course addresses practical aspects of the use of MR imaging in Radiation Oncology. It is aimed at a range of Radiation Oncology professionals (Medical Physicists, Radiation Therapists, Diagnostic Radiographers, Radiation Oncologists) who are:
- interested in using more MRI in their practice,
- looking to use a diagnostic MR scanner for simulation, and/or
- planning to get an MR simulator
Local faculty will convey the comprehensive clinical experience with MRI in Radiation Therapy at Calvary Mater Newcastle. Invited external speakers will share their experiences.
There will be an opportunity to participate in a site visit to Calvary Mater Newcastle in the afternoon of 21 August 2025, time to be confirmed. Please express your interest for this upon registration, limited spots are available.
An exclusive pre-conference welcome dinner will be held 21 August 2025, numbers are limited, please express your interest at registration.
