Ms. Amanda's Rock Academy 102: Experienced Students

Ms. Amanda’s School of Rock is a fun and exciting opportunity for rising 4th to 8th graders to immerse themselves in music this summer. The program is designed to introduce kids to the basics of guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and singing. By learning the basics of each instrument, students can identify one that resonates with them the most and hone their musical skills. Throughout the week students will be given group and individual instruction. At the end of the week, we'll celebrate our progress with a mini concert, where each child will perform with a band and showcase their talents.
Rock Academy 102: 1-4pm will be for students that are either Rock Academy alumni or have previous experience on either bass, guitar, drums or keys and would like to focus on their preferred instrument(s). Students must be able to easily switch between several chords and/or play a basic rock beat on the drumset. Classes will be focused on learning new songs as a whole group.
The cost of the class is $275 plus a $25 equipment fee. All instruments, amps, microphones and necessary sound equipment will be provided. Students registered before May 1, 2024 receive a $15 Early Bird Discount on their registration fee. The maximum capacity for this camp is 12 students - spaces fill up quickly, so sign up soon!
