Ms. Amanda's Rock Academy 101: First Timers

Ms. Amanda’s School of Rock is a fun and exciting opportunity for rising 4th to 8th graders to immerse themselves in music this summer. The program is designed to introduce kids to the basics of guitar, bass, drums, keyboard and singing. By learning the basics of each instrument, students can identify one that resonates with them the most and hone their musical skills. Throughout the week students will be given group and individual instruction. At the end of the week, we'll celebrate our progress with a mini concert, where each child will perform with a band and showcase their talents.
Rock Academy 101 : 9-12am will be for first timers. Each student will get a chance to receive lessons on electric guitar, bass, keyboard, drums and vocals. They will then pick their 2 favorite instruments and learn 2-3 songs on those instruments.
The cost of the class is $275 plus a $25 equipment fee. All instruments, amps, microphones and necessary sound equipment will be provided. Students registered before May 1, 2024 receive a $15 Early Bird Discount on their registration fee. The maximum capacity for this camp is 12 students - spaces fill up quickly, so sign up soon!
