Shaping the Future of Everyday Spaces
Sustainable design for the places we live, gather, and connect
From collaborating with city councils on public street spaces, to working with remote communities to address environmental challenges like rising sea levels, to designing student-focused spaces shaped by feedback from students themselves, our team has many exciting things to share with everyone. This night features a series of presentations unveiling all the projects our team has been working on, insight from guest speakers, and a chance to hear from industry experts, Monash faculty, and our MSB team members in an engaging panel discussion featuring our theme.

EWB | Yirrkoo Rise
Working with Engineers without Borders (EWB), our design solution for a residence in Saibai Island, facing climate vulnerability and rising sea levels.
City of Melbourne | Streets Initiative
An exciting initiative driven by our team, working with the City of Melbourne council to intervene and improve public street spaces in Melbourne.
Prototyping | Solar Study Pavilion
Our very own build challenge, focused on sustainable solutions for student spaces to be built right here in Monash University.
