    LAUREN TSAMOURAS  + NOVAK MANOJLOVIC / LAURENCE PIKE / TOM AVGENICOS

    A favourite local sports bar turned into a music venue with a theatrical edge! 

    The 2024 Ms Kitteridge & Bok Choy season features some of the greatest improvising jazz and experimental musicians with a number of new line ups and an added program of LRT’s own theatrical productions.

    LAUREN TSAMOURAS (solo set)

    Lauren Tsamouras is a pianist, composer, and improviser specialising in Jazz and Improvised music. She leads and composes for her contemporary jazz/improvised music duo Another Green World who released their debut album "Mytera" in March 2023. Ensembles and projects Lauren is currently a member of include Pharos, led by Hannah James; Volant led by Matt Ottignon and Hinano Fujisaki’s Home Is. In 2021, she was nominated for the Jann Rutherford Memorial Award.

    Three Improvisers at the forefront of Australia’s jazz and creative music scene come together to present a set of songs, improvisations and electro-acoustic soundscapes.

    Featuring prolific and internationally acclaimed drummer, composer and producer Lawrence Pike in his own right, and the outstanding young trumpeter Tom Avgneicos, who has established himself as one of the leading jazz improvisers and composers of his generation.
