Paediatric Palliative Care: Medical Webinar
Event description
Paediatric palliative care is often confused with end-of-life support but it’s about much more, offering quality of life and family-centered support for children with serious medical conditions and their families, at every stage of their journey. We'll be joined by Annette Vickery, from Palliative Care Australia, to guide us through what palliative care looks like in practice, how it can complement your child’s care team, and what support might be available now or in the future.
We’ll explore
• What paediatric palliative care really means and dispel common myths
• Who is part of the paediatric palliative care team and what they do
• How and when to access these services to support your child and family
