Mt Cootha Botanical Gardens

Had a blast at our last hike? This time we’re switching things up by including a scavenger hunt at Mount Coot-tha Botanical Gardens! 🌿 Stand a chance to win prizes while connecting with nature📸 We'll be taking the Garden Explorer Trail where we'll see American Region Plants, Bonsai House🌳 and Tropical Garden Dome⛲️ and more! We'll also visit the Botanical Gardens Lookout and Ross McKinnon Lagoon where previous sightings of ducks and herons have been spotted🕊️🦆 

This event is FREE for UQ Photography members and light snacks will be provided🍿Ticket sales will be released on 9th April, 12pm🎟️🕛 

How to get there?📍 

Take bus service 471🚍 (note: this service runs every 1h 15min) and alight at Mt Coot-tha Rd at Botanic Gardens stop 19, 1:08 pm or 2:23 pm. We'll be meeting outside the visitors information centre at 2:30pm. 

Don’t forget to pack sufficient water, cameras and wear comfortable/sports shoes👟💦 Bring along sunscreen, bug spray and sunnies if you’d like☀️
