MTBEG Family Fun Day & Annual General Meeting

We’re throwing a party!
Pizza + bikes = Good times!

Join the club for a day of fun at Mt Taylor to celebrate our thriving little community and the things we’ve achieved this year.

– Shuttles provided by Taylor Made MTB.

– Pizza and other tasty goodness by The Local Metung

– Mechanical support, tunes and skills park games by Bairnsdale Bikes

Schedule for the day
10 - 3pm - uplift shuttles provided by Taylor Made MTB
11 - 2pm - pizza by The Local Metung
1pm - MTBEG AGM at the shelter
1:45pm - VDHS Info session

Important info:

• Shuttle service
  -  Riders wishing to use the shuttle service must have a current Auscycling membership for insurance purposes.
  -  Please head to the club marquee on arrival to check in and receive your wristband
  -  If you're a member of another club you'll need to show proof of your Auscycling membership.
  (The easiest way to do this is to have your AusCycling digital membership card already saved to your phone's wallet - see instructions here: Digital Membership Cards)
  
  
• Food - the legendary Stu will be cranking out woodfired pizza and other goodies from 11:30 onwards. There will be communal pizzas for anyone to grab a slice between rides and you're also welcome to chuck in an order if you need a whole one to yourself (...or are just one of those weirdos that likes pineapple on pizza).
• Refreshments - an esky stocked with soft drink cans and bottled water will be at the club marquee for anyone to help themselves.
• Drinking water - there is no running drinking water at Mt Taylor, so make sure you bring enough to keep yourself hydrated through the day
  
• Toilets - portaloos will be provided - please use them rather than the site's drop dunny as it doesn't like big crowds!
• Rubbish - Please keep Mt Taylor beautiful by cleaning up after yourselves (and pets) and taking any personal rubbish home.
• Traffic - Lookout Rd will remain open during the event. With the VDHS coming up it's likely there will be other riders using the shuttle road so please stay safe and keep the road clear of parked cars, bikes etc.
  
• Fun and games in the Skills Park - Bairnsdale Bikes will be running some mini games in the Skills Park through the day.
  
  
• Club AGM - 1pm at the shelter.
  There are committee roles to be filled, as well as opportunities for people to contribute in a non-committee capacity too, so please roll up and consider pitching in to help continuing to grow and support our great MTB community.
  Our president Jacinta and other current committee members will be around on the day and are always open to chat, so drop in to the club marquee if you have any questions!
  
• VDHS Info session - straight after the AGM. (~1:30pm)
  Our race coordinator Jake will be giving a quick info session about the upcoming VDHS at Mt Taylor (2/3 December) immediately following the AGM - this is an opportunity for riders, parents and volunteers to learn more about what to expect on the weekend and ask any questions.
