My Time, Our Place: Pedagogy, Play & Programming

Get Your Team Up to Speed!

Is your team confident in using My Time, Our Place (MTOP) to guide meaningful play, programming and practice?

This practical professional learning brings My Time Our Place to life in the OOSH environment, helping educators move beyond simply documenting activities to creating intentional, child-led experiences that reflect children’s interests, voices, strengths and wellbeing.

This session will explore how pedagogy, play, relationships and programming connect and how educators can use MTOP to plan, reflect, document and demonstrate the learning happening every day in OOSH.

Your team will explore:

Understanding MTOP and what it means for OOSH practice
Turning children’s interests and ideas into meaningful programming
Using play as a powerful vehicle for learning and development
Making intentional teaching visible in everyday practice
Strengthening educator reflection and critical thinking
Connecting observations, planning, implementation and evaluation
Moving beyond “doing activities” to purposeful, child-centred practice
Building confidence in talking about and demonstrating your pedagogy

Practical, engaging and OOSH-focused, his session will get your team thinking differently about play, programming and the powerful learning that happens in your service every day.

Now is the time to get your team up to speed with MTOP and turn everyday play opportunities into meaningful and engaging experiences for children.
