Organisational Health: Why It Matters
Event description
We think of organisational health as more than just culture or employee engagement. It’s the organisation’s ability to align around a common vision, execute against that vision effectively, and renew itself through innovation and creative thinking. Put another way, health is how the ship is run, no matter who is at the helm and what waves rock the vessel - McKinsey.
At this Morning Tea with Mark, Jay Hull will share his experience of the US legal sector and why organisational health is important to create for leaders to thrive.
Key thinking for this event:
- What is organisational health and why does it matter? What does a human-centred organisation look like?
- How do values like love and trust fit in, especially in a highly competitive business environment?
- Will organisational health have a positive impact on objective business results, or is just a feel-good public relations strategy?
- What are people really looking for from their work? How is that changing, in light of the pandemic?
- Are we unintentionally wasting the talent and initiative of people on our team? How do we get better in this area?
- What will great leadership look like in our new operating environment?
